Brief
Creative Connects is a campaign created by the Portland, OR chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA), meant to highlight graphic design as a field to young and prospective designers. As a part of the FLUX Internship at Oregon State University, under the leadership of Lindsey Charlet, the CEO of HUB Collective in Portland, we were tasked with creating branding for the campaign, as well as kicking off the video series that would be later continued by AIGA.

Process
The project began with choosing a visual direction to move towards that aligned with both AIGA's visual style as well as one that connected with the target audience, that being both young and prospective designers, as well as their parents. Working with the clients, we created several visual directions in which to head in, and refined one based on their feedback.
With a second round of feedback, we continued to refine the style. The client wished for a style that was friendly and bright, and we created one that was both that as well as bold and distinct.
With the finalized branding, we created deliverables for the campaign, including motion graphics to be used in video interviews, video thumbnails, and templates for social media.
